Graphic Computation - from data abstraction to system implementation

AHO OSLO SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE, OSLO, NORWAY
26 SEPTEMBER 2007
Aleksandra Jaeschke and Andrea Di Stefano will discuss the notion of graphic computation, a generative design process governing absorbent geometries that integrate material and immaterial factors across diverse scales and domains. The discussion will evolve around two projects - Artificial Biotic Corridors and Urban Ganglions - developed through different protocols and graphic notation systems in order to map, abstract and process various inputs towards novel models of organisation. The lecture will take place at 1.00 p.m. in Group Room 4
